We 've just completed the third edition of the EuroMediterranean School, held in Siracusa from the 19/11 for one week. 40  Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Trainees (among which 23 Italians and 17 foreigners from Spain, Bosnia, Greece, Albania, Turckey, Egypt) took part to this year edition, the third in chronological order., always  totally  free for  education and  hospitality. The speakers and chairmen  were about 30,  coming from the Euromediterranean  area also  (as H.Ring  and N.Cristodoulo). The main topic  of the   School  was "Emergency medicine and rehabilitation" , and  also during the course, there were many refresher interneships about  "Neuronal plasticity" "Pain and spasticity medicines" "EMG" "Osteoporosis and instrumental diagnosis"  "Rehabilitation in oncology".

At the end of the course, the consensus about the scientific  program (with  both theoretical and  practical  activities) effectiveness has been unanimous but, in particular, the experience axchanges among different countries young people (who lived together for one week)  has been appreciated, crearting a strong friendship amongst them.

The course will be repeated next year, with different topics, always  by a  strong  partnership   among SIMFER,  ESPMR,  ISPMR and PRM Mediterranean Forum, and with the facilities support offered by the Archimedes University Consortium (in cooperation with the City  and the Province Government  of Siracusa).
